Heck of a dog home is a family owned and operated dog resort; we are 100% kennel-free and therefore provide a specialty service for well-mannered dogs. We are located central to Lloydminster, Wainwright and Vermilion.

We provide a superior vacation destination for your 4 legged family members while you are away. While sharing our 2000 square foot home, your loved ones will also enjoy access to our 14 fully fenced acres of secure off leash play area, including our private beach!

ABOUT US

We have been in operation for 16 years and we are very experienced in all types of dog care. We are fully trained and certified in canine first aid.

We have 5 dogs of our own; Bjarkee, Quimbley, Khataff, Tattyk, and Krom our Irish Wolfhounds.

All of our dogs are extremely well socialized, and are very much a part of our family and lives. Each of our dogs, like yours, has their own unique personality which brings versatility into entertaining our guests!

Quite simply put, we offer something for everyone; from the playful pups and the most energetic to the more relaxed or older dogs and from the smallest of guests to the largest.

We are involved with dog rescue in the Lloydminster, Wainwright and Vermilion areas. As well as volunteering for the Irish Wolfhound Club of Canada Rescue. If you are interested in adopting an Irish Wolfhound or need to surrender your Irish Wolfhound for any reason, please contact us, we can help.
